      Cross-comment value

      co.mments

I think cross-commenting is really taking off with feed services as Cocomment, 3bubbles and Co.mments and for WordPress users with x-comment. Curious what aggregator innovation can do with the a-list comment dialoges.

We found that the risk posed by these portable devices is higher than previously believed,” said Bill Strauss, who recently completed his Ph.D. in EPP at Carnegie Mellon. “These devices can disrupt normal operation of key cockpit instruments, especially Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers, which are increasingly vital for safe landings.” Strauss is an expert in aircraft electromagnetic compatibility at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Patuxent River, Md.

Study: P2P good for CD & DVD sales?

While CRIA regularly trumpets commissioned studies as evidence for the problems posed by P2P, this week it released a major study without any fanfare whatsoever. Conducted by Pollara last month, the study serves as part of CRIA’s submission to the CRTC’s Commercial Radio Review. What makes this particular study interesting (aside from the fact that it finally includes full details on responses and the actual questions posed), is that much of the data challenges many familiar CRIA claims.

                      Jigsaw

Luckily it is totally forbidden under Dutch law

                      Jigsaw

Well, just as soon as one company stopped being evil, another one has stepped in to take its place. Jigsaw is a marketplace for contact information, and it is very efficient. If boasts detailed personal contact information for 2.5 million people, and 7,000 new people are added every day. If you want the name, title, email address, direct phone line and/or address of any executive of any company, there is a very good chance Jigsaw will already have it in its database and will sell it to you. And if you are a sales guy and have no ethical concerns about where you get your contact information, you probably already know all about Jigsaw.

But it is still a great idea that in some form could be a hit.

As some might have noticed weblognieuws.nl has launched. After a few requests, here is some additional information as provided to us by the group…
