Pirate Bay Server Becomes Museum Exhibit
Thursday, April 16th, 2009 by Administrator Barnhard Blog
When The Pirate Bay was raided by police in 2006 they confiscated the site’s servers. Now one of those servers has been bought by a Swedish museum, which will display the machine as a device that has impacted people’s lives. In another development, damning CAM footage of the upcoming TPB movie has leaked showing the crew calculating their huge earnings.

Keen on Web 2.0 - Web 2.0 is fucked
Thursday, April 16th, 2009 by Administrator Barnhard Blog
Andrew Keen: Web 2.0 Is Fucked (The Next Web 2009) from Robin Wauters on Vimeo.
In a long speech - without notes - he talked about a new age of individualism. With the end of the industrial revolution, “we”, essentially are now “the product”.
But, ironically perhaps for some observers, Keen is now a fully-fledged fan of Twitter.
In fact he called Twitter the “nail in the coffin of Web 2.0″. He said it’s “the future of individual media in the age of the individual… a future when individuals become brands. People with skills are able to sell their skills on the network. I call this real time social media.”

Saturday, April 18th, 2009 by Administrator Barnhard BlogEU debateert over Net Neutraliteit
Sunday, April 19th, 2009 by Administrator Barnhard Blog

Monday, April 20th, 2009 by Administrator Barnhard BlogGet Waterboarded how does it feel?
Saturday, April 25th, 2009 by Administrator Barnhard BlogHow does it feel to be “aggressively interrogated”? Christopher Hitchens found out for himself, submitting to a brutal waterboarding session in an effort to understand the human cost of America’s use of harsh tactics at Guantánamo and elsewhere.
Playboy.com journalist Mike Guy underwent waterboarding by a trained member of the U.S. military in the site’s new Lab Rat feature. Guy bet that he could endure 15 seconds of the interrogation technique used by the Bush administration on al Qaeda chief Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Abu Zubaydah.

Victory! Amendment 138 was voted again.
Monday, April 27th, 2009 by Administrator Barnhard BlogAccording to Jérémie Zimmermann, co-founder of La Quadrature du Net: “The European citizens will remember this courageous stand. Members of the European parliament honoured their mandates by standing courageously for citizens’ rights and freedoms. This is one more blow to Nicolas Sarkozy’s ‘three strikes’ or ‘HADOPI’ law in France, and a strong sign that nobody in Europe will want to pass such a stupid legislation going against progress, citizens’ rights and common sense.”.
Philippe Aigrain, also co-founder of La Quadrature du Net concludes: “We will also follow with great attention the negociations in a future conciliation committee to make impossible for the Council to endanger other aspects of the telecom packet such as equitable networking. It is time for Member States to realize that the economy and society can benefit together from an open infrastructure and a strong affirmation of rights.”. (more)
Parlement has voted rightly in favor of net neutrality.
