Antichrist & Mandatory Suicide populair in Irak

Saturday, July 4th, 2009 by Administrator Barnhard Blog

Het resultaat daarvan is zijn onlangs verschenen boek Sound Targets: American Soldiers and Music in the Iraq War.

Wave Energy snakes are getting better

Monday, July 6th, 2009 by Administrator Barnhard Blog

Anaconda, a giant rubber “snake” that floats offshore and converts wave energy to electricity, is a step closer to commercialisation. An 8-metre long, 1/25th scale version is currently undergoing tests in a large wave tank in Gosport, UK, and a full-size working version could be a reality in five years.

Des Crampton, CEO of Checkmate Seaenergy, the firm commercialising the flexible wave harvester, says a full-size Anaconda 200 metres long could generate enough energy to power 1000 average homes. “Anaconda captures more energy than all existing wave energy devices,” he says.

Amerikaans burgerservicenummer deels gekraakt

Monday, July 13th, 2009 by Administrator Barnhard Blog

Why “intellectual property” is a misnomer

Saturday, July 18th, 2009 by Administrator Barnhard Blog

“Intellectual property” is one of those ideologically loaded terms that can cause an argument just by being uttered.(..) Fundamentally, the stuff we call “intellectual property” is just knowledge - ideas, words, tunes, blueprints, identifiers, secrets, databases. This stuff is similar to property in some ways: it can be valuable, and sometimes you need to invest a lot of money and labour into its development to realise that value.
But it is also dissimilar from property in equally important ways. Most of all, it is not inherently “exclusive”. (..) Once you know my song, once you read my book, once you see my movie, it leaves my control. Short of a round of electroconvulsive therapy, I can’t get you to un-know the sentences you’ve just read here. It’s this disconnect that makes the “property” in intellectual property so troublesome.
Trying to shoehorn knowledge into the “property” metaphor leaves us without the flexibility and nuance that a true knowledge rights regime would have.
There are plenty of creations and facts that fall outside the scope of copyright, trademark, patent and the other rights that make up the hydra of Intellectual Property, from recipes to phone books to “illegal art” like musical mashups. These works are not property - and shouldn’t be treated as such - but for every one of them, there’s an entire ecosystem of people with a legitimate interest in them.”

Iran: Basij members rape virgins in jail

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009 by Administrator Barnhard Blog

Today there is a horrific article in the Dutch newspaper ‘Telegraaf‘ stating that an anonymous source confirms what is long feared: Irans Basij elite troops rape virgins who are sentenced to death just before their execution takes place.

In Iran it is illegal to sentence virgin woman to death, therefore Basij members marry these woman and rape them in jail just before their sentence actually takes place. The marriage prevents these Basij members to get convicted themselves for the rape.

Horrific story … @#$!!

Please note that the story is originally from FOX news and the Jerusalem Post. Meaning it is not clear if it is actually true or propaganda. Similar stories were broadcast, without checking the source, to bash Sadam’s regime.

Fox host Glenn Beck accused President Obama of being “a racist.” The group was discussing the recent Gates controversy, and Beck exclaimed that Obama has “over and over again” exposed himself as “a guy who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture. I don’t know what it is…”
