Stephen Hawking: Abandon Earth Or Face Extinction

You want to be an optimist, but the truth is that very very few countries stay out of war for more than 100 year. To put it like Einstein: “I do not know what the third world war will be fought with, but the fourth world war will be fought with sticks and stones”. If Hawking and Einstein get it right, playing the weird space-kid might not be such a bad idea afterall? (vid via)

Grenzfurthner: On how to subvert subversion

Progressive (provoking) artists nowadays need to deal with the soft power -stop signs in our head- as oppose to explicit signs and rules in public, if they want to get their message out. This is much harder than it seems.
But it can be done. Grenzfurthner shows with an example, which remind me of the YES-man trick, but his point is much broader than the YES-man. Enjoy.

[little warning: he shouts 2 or 3 times]. For more ted see here.
