You want to be an optimist, but the truth is that very very few countries stay out of war for more than 100 year. Progressive (provoking) artists nowadays need to deal with the soft power -stop signs in our head- as oppose to explicit signs and rules in public, if they want to get their message out. This is much harder than it seems.
